Our clients wanted something modern. But as with many design decisions, committing to a darker colour scheme felt like a big step. That’s where our designer Diane stepped in with her customer-first approach, listening carefully, then presenting two carefully considered handleless kitchen designs: one in a light palette, the other in a bold dark tone. It didn’t take long to see the dramatic impact of the darker option.
The deep Carbon anti-fingerprint finish of the cabinetry gave the space a modern edge, while the white marble-effect Silestone worktops, light wood flooring, and white walls ensured the room remained bright and airy. To enhance depth and reflect light subtly, Diane introduced a smoked grey mirror splashback, lifting the whole design, especially in the compact space. Finishing touches like a Quooker black tap and anthracite sink tied everything together with understated luxury.
We hope you agree it’s a striking kitchen with a balance of boldness and elegance. Proof that going dark doesn’t mean going gloomy.
