Sophistication and Drama with a Charcoal and Bronze Kitchen

Charcoal is fast becoming one of the most popular colour choices when it comes to modern kitchen design. If you’re looking for a way to make your kitchen look luxurious and sophisticated, charcoal with bronze accents might just be the right colour choices for you. Read on to find out more about how to create a charcoal kitchen with antique bronze accents.

A blend of modern and period sophistication
Our clients were renovating a period property and wanted something to compliment the room with its stunning features. Working together with them, John Willox Kitchen Design created a luxurious charcoal kitchen with antique bronze accents and fittings that both complemented and enhanced the existing elements of the room. The new design was both modern yet sympathetic to its period surroundings, achieving a timeless elegance that puts this design in trend for years to come.

Contrasting warm tones and subtle accents
Our client had a very strong sense of style and had clear ideas about the look and materials they wanted for their kitchen renovation. The cabinets were finished in a deep charcoal shade, with graphite carcases from the Second Nature British Milbourne Kitchen Range which was contrasted by the warm tones of the Solid Oak countertops, creating an eye-catching combination that lends itself perfectly to this classic colour scheme. To add further depth, antique bronze handles provided subtle accents which draws attention without overpowering the overall design.

The finishing touches
Beautiful glass pendant lights hang over the kitchen table which illuminate both surfaces below as well as adding a glamorous sparkle when lit up in the evening. The walls boast an olive tone from Little Greene Paint Company creating an inviting yet sophisticated space where every detail has been carefully planned out right down to the last flourish – after all, if you are going to invest in your dream kitchen then why not go all out! With its deep hue and luxe feel, there’s no doubt that charcoal makes for a beautiful kitchen colour palette when paired with antique bronze accents. Not only does this combination create an elegant atmosphere but it also ensures that your kitchen stands out from all other kitchens with its unique look. So if you’re ready to bring luxury into your home, consider going with a charcoal palette with antique bronze accents.
