Modern Yet Timeless Farmhouse Kitchen

Building their modern dream home, our clients envisioned an open plan kitchen/living area with a majestic vaulted ceiling and large picture windows, a space that exuded uniqueness and elegance.
Our Clients sought a departure from the ordinary, they envisioned a shaker door design in two contrasting yet harmonious colours, Indigo and Porcelain, a choice that would add character to their Modern Farmhouse Kitchen space. The Miami White Silestone worktops not only accentuated the Indigo base units but also reflected light, enhancing the overall spacious feel.
With a beautiful “letterbox” window gracing the kitchen area, they decided against tall units, opting instead for a design that allowed the window’s natural light to cascade through the room.
Designing a Distinctive Haven
The heart of their kitchen is the island, an area designed to be both functional and aesthetically appealing. Built-under ovens, convenient wide pan drawers and a Neff vented induction hob on the island ensured functionality and a streamlined look.
To maintain a clean, uncluttered look, a Quooker boiling water tap was a perfect fit, elegantly complementing the Silestone Integrity Large Due single bowl sink and matching Miami White Silestone worktops. Cup handles and knobs were thoughtfully integrated, adding a vintage touch to the modern design.
Kitchen Specification:

Our Client was thrilled with the results, In their words:
“Having dealt with Joanna and the team at John Willox previously, there was no question as to who would be best to design my new kitchen and utility for our new home. We knew what style and colour we were looking for, and with Joanna’s input and design plan, we got exactly what we were looking for and much more. Our favourite has to be the huge island. Just a great area to hang around. Absolutely love it!”
