Celebrating Joanna Dereniowska Cosentino 2025 Award

Cosentino announced on Instagram during our festive break that Joanna Dereniowska’s John Willox Kitchen Design received 3rd Place in the Best Kitchen Design 2025 category.

Open exclusively to members of the Cosentino We Professionals Programme, this competition celebrates the standout projects that combine modern design, elegance and timeless appeal. Spaces created to inspire the kitchens and bathrooms of tomorrow. An incredible showcase of creativity, craftsmanship and design excellence.

A bold, bespoke kitchen design inspired by nature.

Green was one of 2025’s most prominent colours, with its grounding qualities and connection to nature, green offers a soothing, timeless charm, perfect for bringing the outside in.

Bay Green was selected for the entire kitchen and paired with the striking veining of Dekton Awake worktops and splashbacks, a statement combination that feels fresh, inviting, and effortlessly stylish.

A work of art in the home

This kitchen was carefully tailored to suit the clients’ practical needs and aesthetic preferences. They dreamed of a spacious island for gathering and entertaining, specifically without a hob or sink to maintain a clean, unobstructed surface. Designed to seat four comfortably, the island becomes a centrepiece for socialising, enhanced by a stunning glass lantern above that reflects the polished finish of the Dekton Awake worktop, creating a work of art in the heart of the home.

The Dekton Awake worktops and matching splashbacks add drama and artistry with their intricate veining. By extending the splashbacks up to the wall units, the design maximises the impact of this striking material. It’s a choice that balances the bold cabinetry with a touch of luxury.
