Sleek Kitchen Refresh
Our clients loved the layout of their existing kitchen but wanted a refresh. More contemporary with a new colour palette, a sleeker finish and innovative features. With a clear understanding of their needs, our designer, Joanna, worked with the clients to refine their layout and update the finishes. She took the time to understand what mattered most to them, helping keep the features they valued while introducing modern touches for a fresh new look
Bold Colours
The transformation began with cabinetry.
The clients were drawn to Bauformat’s striking Baku Storm Grey for the base units, beautifully complemented by Potsdam Misty Grey tall and wall units. The rich blue-grey tone with the softer grey introduced the contemporary edge they had been looking for. To complete the look, the handleless design, paired with matching channel handles, creates a seamless, streamlined finish that feels effortlessly modern.
Worktops were another important decision.
Having previously lived with Corian, the clients were put off by visible joins. Joanna recommended Dekton in Marina (20mm), and with expert installation, we achieved an almost invisible join, delivering the flawless finish they wanted. To tie the scheme together, a bespoke smoky glass splashback was added
CLEVER STORAGE
A feature that really excited the clients was Bauformat’s Space Corners. Instead of traditional cupboards, these ingenious corner drawers make awkward spaces accessible. Tall wall units and a pull-out larder further maximised storage without compromising on style.
High-Tech Appliances
The Neff Flex Design range allowed the clients to personalise their appliances with trims and handles that blend seamlessly into the scheme. Choosing the Deep Black trim for their ovens, paired perfectly with a Neff vented hob (which smartly removed the need for a traditional overhead extractor) and a Dunavox Flow 17 wine cooler in minimalist black, completing the sleek, modern finish. To add both practicality and luxury, a Quooker Flex boiling water tap in stainless steel was installed, matching the sink and sockets. With its pull-out spray, it makes everything from rinsing vegetables to filling pans effortless. Finally, under-cabinet and plinth lighting highlight the clean lines of the cabinetry, bringing depth and a soft contemporary glow to the space.
